I have to say though that many of the popular blogs which I read have a very similar lay out. Here are some from my bookmarks:

With that said I am getting sick of looking at this blog in it's current state and your comment was enough to make me want to change.

		<description>A suggestion?  You have a great blog -- the only problem is that it would be MUCH better if you simply centralized your layout instead of having it hug the left-side of the user's screen.  Design has moved away from this particular aspect years ago :)  It is very annoying to users with large screen resolutions to have to pretty much "lean over to the left" to read your site all scrunched up on one side of the monitor and have all that real-estate just sitting their blank on the right side of the screen.</description>
