MSN Messenger for Blackberry (RIM) Coming Mid March

There has always been one thing missing from my blackberry and that is MSN Messenger.
I have tried every application I could find and although some worked marginally well like the Free MSN Messenger from handango.com most were not worth downloading.

Recently there was some speculation that MSN and Research in Motion had “burried the hatchet” and MSN Messenger will be available for blackberrys sometime in late March. I have not been able to verify this yet although I have seen some posts with regard to the subject on blackberryforums.com.

If this is true I will be one happy BB user!

Wouldn’t MSN (Microsoft Network) wand you to use a Microsoft Windows based Pocket PC instead of building an app for their competitor?

Maybe thats why its taking so long…not sure, thanks for the handango suggestion.

Now, if you’re a Verizon Wireless subscriber, Verizon Wireless came out with an application download which connects MSN, Yahoo!, and AOL chat clients into one, that can be downloaded to a Blackberry device. It is an EXTREAMLY basic application. Yes, it gives you the ability to communicate through these clients. But, it does’nt allow you to transfer anything through them. Now, Yahoo! has a mobile application that can be downloaded, which acts like their alpha version. This not only gives you the ability to chat, but to also allows you to send and receive files. Currently, I myself am waiting on two things.
1. for adobe to catch their flash player for wireless devices up with standard pcs i.e., Adobe Flash 9.
2. for Microsoft to actually release a good version of their chat client to be avalible for download through mobile phones i.e., Blackberry.
